Thoughts on Prayer
I know it's been quite a while since I last posted on my blog, I'll write an update soon, Lord willing! Recently however, I ran across a picture/quote... Simply put: "modern disciples need to concentrate more on how prayer changes *us* and less on how it changes *things*. Prayer is getting ourselves attuned to God, not getting God attuned to us. It is developing the life of God in is, not self development." -Oswald Chambers- If You Ask. This really got me to think deeper about prayer and *why* we pray... I just thought I'd share my thoughts with you! 😊 The purpose of prayer is such an important concept! One which seems to be misunderstood far too frequently. (I know I, at least, have been guilty of praying with wrong motives!)
